Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper Saturday expressed his condolences on the death of David Thompson, prime minister of Barbados.In a statement issued in Montreux,polo ralph lauren, Switzerland,ralph lauren, where he is attending the 13th Francophonie Summit,doudoune ralph lauren, Harper said he was deeply saddened to learn of Thompson's passing after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer."Prime Minister Thompson was deeply committed to implementing social programs for families, children and youth, both in his country and beyond," he said. "This was evident in his interventions in the Commonwealth and in the Caribbean Community."Thompson,christian louboutin, died at home early Saturday at 48, the government of the Caribbean country said. His deputy, Freundel Stuart,mercurial vapor, has been acting as prime minister.Thompson became prime minister in January 2008.
