Dear JobsBlog: I am a senior in Russia and will be getting my bachelor’s degree in June with the option to go one more year for a Masters. I sent a resume for a summer internship a month ago but would I also be eligible for a full-time position? Which would you advise that I pursue?
Answer: Tough question! We frequently see resumes from candidates who have the opportunity to continue with their Masters or pursue an industry position. Both are great options so it can be really hard to decide! Since this is a very personal choice, the easy answer is go with what would make you happiest. The simplified HR answer is go with the choice that will get you closest to where you ultimately want to be. I’m hoping you can consider both those answers when you make your decision. I'd also suggest talking to trusted family, friends, and professors who can help you consider the aspects of this decision that are most important to you.
