embroidery hoop is an embroidery
digitization device which is made from wood, plastic or steel with which fabric is gripped tightly between an inner ring and an outer ring and attached to the machine's pantograph. machine hoops are designed to push the fabric to the bottom of the inner ring and hold it against the machine bed for embroidering.
please don’t misunderstand. this isn’t some new age thinking, where if you think positively you can do anything you want. “get in the zone and you’ll be a great puncher” is positively goofy. however, i can’t emphasize enough how important i believe this is to
embroidery punching : not the getting into “the punch zone”, but being creative
none the less, it doesn’t take a genius to see that formal education in the embroidery industry needs a booster shot. i don’t have exact numbers, but the number of digitizers teaching themselves is staggering. even more frightening are the individuals and businesses jumping into
stitch digitizing without a good feel for what it’s all about.
