Tissot recently launched its own software called Tissot Augmented Reality, a cutting-edge prospect that brings a whole new dimension to shopping for your favourite watch.
Tissot Augmented Reality allows the user to visualise a Tissot watch on their wrist – without the watch actually being there. All you have to do is download the easy-to-install software from the Tissot website, print out the special wristband for your wrist, and turn on your webcam. Then the fun begins...
By holding the wrist near to a camera, the user is free to ‘try on' any watch from the entire T-Touch range of Tissot watches. The selected watch appears virtually on the user's wrist on the screen, allowing them to conclude whether or not the watch is the right one for them.

Helpfully for the user, the watches are customisable and automatically sync the time and date with those of the computer. Conveniently, photographs can be taken for to refer to later and technical specifications and reference numbers automatically appear.
The new technology allows potential buyers of Tissot watches to experience them from the comfort of their home and in combination with different outfits. They can also gain insights into the myriad of unique touch functions available, which can be activated to give the user the full experience.
