Orcs Must Die! Set for Release This Summer

Tower defense from a third-person perspective.

The orc apocalypse is about to begin. Robot Entertainment announced today that action strategy game Orcs Must Die! will be available for download on PCs and Xbox Live Arcade this summer.
Created by the founders of Ensemble Studios in 2009, Robot Entertainment is the team behind the in-beta, free-to-play RTS, Age of Empires Online. The studio is partnering with Microsoft once again to publish its other title, Orcs Must Die,xbox live codes! Check the trailer:

"Players on both Xbox Live Arcade and PCs will get their chance to massacre orcs by the thousands soon," CEO patrick Hudson said in a statement. "We're excited that Microsoft shares our orc bloodlust and will publish the game."
In Orcs Must Die! players become a war mage tasked with defending fortresses from the green-skinned hordes. Players will use classic tower-defense weapons,xbox live account, spells, and traps to repel the invaders, but unlike other top-down tower defense games, Orcs Must Die! uses a third-person perspective.
The game will be playable at the San Diego Comic-Con this week, and anyone that goes hands-on will receive a free prequel comic book that tells the story of a world under siege by savage monsters.
No pricing or specific release date were announced.
