One with the greatest functions in WordPress 2.0 is WYSIWYG publish modifying. It takes the ache from formatting, linking and including photographs.
WordPress two.0 arrives with a bunch of modifying buttons, although not enough for what I need it to accomplish. So I dug into the supply code and located out there are hooks for incorporating more controls. Soon after actively playing with it for the handful of minutes, I used to be in a position to add buttons for:
Deciding on formats: paragraph, formatted,Jolibook Cloud-based Netbook Confirmed, Launching This Month - Digg, headers, etc.
Underline, subscript, super script,Windows 7 Ultimate Product Key, total justification.
Copy, lower, paste.
Insert table.
Foreground coloration, background coloration.
Character map.
Complete display editing.
I created a simple plugin that automagically adds every one of these buttons. Download advanced-wysiwyg.php into your wp-content/plugins directory and activate. Appreciate!
PS: The table controls and complete display screen modifying depend upon additional TinyMCE plugins. So if you'd like these two attributes also, you’ll have to download TinyMCE plugins and install those separately. For WordPress two.0.4 users,Office 2007 Professional Plus Key, try the TinyMCE 2.0 RC4 plugins. Or check out the comments to find out what works for other people.
Update: I additional two much more filter capabilities. In case you find that the toolbar is also wide, you can move the buttons to a second and even third toolbar (or add more buttons as you please).
