It took a while to admit,
Discount nike shox shoes, but I've come clean. I don't easily adapt to change. Evidence this by the rotary phone still in use in our garage.
And I'd rather use my hand-crank can opener than those electric ones that you can't throw into the dishwasher after you've opened a can of tuna fish.
I have three pairs of tennis shoes - a small luxury I know. However, the oldest pair of nike(nike is a world famous brand, our factory oem for nike, if you want to buy
cheap puma shoes, you can contact us plant.) shoes(in china,
nike shoes price is evry low,and so is
nike dunk.) are still my favorite and most comfortable. I just can't bear to part with them yet. And besides, they would make good flood shoes if the water comes up on the road again in one of those alleged "100-year storms" that seem to come around every three years.
When the price of pop jumped past 50 cents a can, I scoured the markets for coupons and "specials" on Diet Coke and Coke Zero until the price was what I wanted to pay. And when the Coke people tried to change the formula for their famous drink, I heard a collective gasp around the world of Coca-Cola fans. Why mess with something that already works?
Recently I noticed that I could not find a certain brand of body wash that I had been buying for years. The one scent that I really liked was no longer on the shelves of any stores. I contacted the company and a nice lady on the other end of an email said the scent was replaced with some newer fragrances and she hoped I would like them as well. I didn't.
Some change is good but sometimes it's just ridiculous. Do we really need 300 cable television stations for which we are forced to pay a small fortune just because we wanted that one channel that shows the Penguins' hockey games? I really was happy with 12 channels and my own clicker.
Sometimes change happens overnight, like road closures and reconfiguration of traffic patterns. Beware and be alert this time of the year for those things can catch you off guard. No more applying the lipstick on the way to work with orange cones popping up everywhere along the drive into town.
In the newspaper office we have a door with a sign on it that identifies the room behind it as the "Dark Room." Not too long ago a group of middle school students toured the office and asked what was in the Dark Room? I could have cried. I cut my photo teeth on the film canisters and paper safes in that room 32 years ago and now it is obsolete with the invention of digital cameras.
I swore that the new-fangled way of taking pictures would never catch on. Now I'm hooked and love the speed, ease and quality of digital photography.
I continue to drag my feet on some changes in this instant world of today, but I do like that lunch is available in four minutes in the microwave, popcorn does not require a stove and I can start my car from my living room in the dead of winter.
Now if someone could just walk me through this Facebook thing ...
