As of Sunday, the university had accounted for all Duke-affiliated vacationers who it had been conscious of getting in Japan, and none was in any danger.

Students in impacted areas are becoming encouraged  to stay in get in touch with with their program leaders. Help for any Duke student, faculty or staff member abroad on a Duke program is available through the university's travel help program.

Duke also will be reaching out to students on campus whose families may have been affected by the disaster. Students on campus who need assist services should speak to Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS),Buy Office 2007, and faculty or staff in need of assist should speak to the Personal Help Service (PAS).
