Kogan cuts netbook price

Low-price electronics retailer Kogan Technologies statements to own the first sub-$400 10in netbook in Australia. Originally promoting for $499,
Office 2010 Professional Product Key, the Kogan Netbook is now priced at $399.
Specifications consist of a 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU,
Windows 7 Sale, 1G of RAM, a 160G challenging drive, a 1024 x 600 show,
Office 2007 Ultimate, 802.11b/g wireless, along with a three-cell lithium ion battery.
The Professional version has similarly been lowered in value from $539 to $439. It includes 2G of RAM, a USB Bluetooth dongle, along with a six-cell battery.
That six-cell battery will also be acquired individually for $64.
"We have established ourselves as a leader in this market and our buying power is increasing every day," said company founder Ruslan Kogan.
"Through our direct business model we can cut out the middle men and pass on these savings to our customers," he added.
