Before August twenty five, 2009:
Turn off auto-approve for “Update rollup” packages in WSUS, and approve the updates manually. Note: Even if Auto-Approve for “Update rollup” is on,
Windows 7 Sale, you will still be required to approve the World wide web Explorer 8 EULA before Net Explorer eight is deployed to downstream clients.
After August 25,
Office 2010 Standard Key, 2009:
Synchronize your WSUS server. Decline the Internet Explorer eight update packages. If you typically auto-approve update rollup packages,
Microsoft Office Standard 2010 Key, you can re-enable automatic approval for “Update rollups.”
What other Internet Explorer 8 updates is going to be obtainable through WSUS?
Cumulative security updates for World wide web Explorer 8 and Internet Explorer 8 Compatibility View List updates will also be released by means of WSUS as they become available.
