Office Standard blog internships-oh-my

'Tis intern hiring season inside the halls of Developing 19,microsoft Office 2010 License, and Steven Sinofsky has posted some terrific info on what to anticipate during a Microsoft - and specifically an Office - internship. When I was in college,Microsoft Office Pro 2007, I interned at some really cool places,Office Standard, but I experienced very stereotypical, old-school internships ... You know ... filing paperwork, alphabetizing promotional material, answering the phone ... that kind of thing. The Microsoft internship is the antithesis of those stodgy internships. In fact,Office 2010 Professional Plus, you do (get this,Microsoft Office Standard 2007!) real work, and you contribute as a real team member. Shhh ... don't tell anyone! The old-school intern police might come after us. And yes, the application and interview process for interns is almost exactly the same as for full-time applicants.
