I had no idea that I needed new shoes for zumba class. I have been dancing to the zumba beat for almost a year now in a couple different pairs of sneakers that I have had for quite some time. I didn't think that having a new pair of shoes was really going to make any sort of difference. I could not have been any more wrong.
My new zumba shoes are incredibly comfortable and allow me to put more energy in zumba class. I can dance longer and more comfortably than I ever have before. Not only that but my new shoes are super cute. I don't just feel better but I look better as well.
The problem with my old Zumba shoes was two fold. First
air jordan high heels, I had no idea that the New Balance walking shoes that I was wearing were doing me such a displeasure in Zumba class. Apparently walking shoes don't do me any good for Zumba dance moves. As a matter of fact I think I would have been better off doing Zumba in my bare feet.
The first time that I wore a cross training style of shoes to Zumba class I realized how the walking shoes had been holding me back. All this time the walking shoes had been raising my weight off of my heels and shifting it forward onto the balls of my feet. Turned out that they were doing exactly what they were supposed to be doing. Placing my heel down and then transferring my weight onto the balls of my feet as I take a step.
What they weren't allowing me to do was transfer weight to my heels. I didn't think that this was a big deal until I was able to sit back on my heels. What an amazing difference
air jordan high heel pumps! Such a subtle little change to the way that I stand and transfer my weight. But it made an incredible difference.
My old shoes were also worn out on the bottom. I didn't realize just how unevenly they were worn out until after I compared them to my new pair of Zumba shoes. Apparently I place more weight when I walk on the outside of my feet. The tread was nearly completely worn off of this area. I'm glad that the condition of my shoes was brought to my attention. I never really flipped them over and looked at the bottom of the shoes.
The shapes of your feet are unique but fortunately, due to the number of different brands on the market, there should be a shoe which is a good match for the shape of your feet.Broadly speaking, the shoes should have space around the toes

Often athletes, women especially, are used to their feet being 'held' by their day-to-day shoes. This is not the correct fit for a running shoe and will only lead to black-toenails and blisters. Retailers Return Period Several major running shoe retailers now run schemes whereby you have the opportunity to buy a pair of shoes and return them (to swap for a different pair) within a month of purchase if you are not getting on with them. Take advantage of these schemes - but do give them a thorough test before returning shoes.
