DESPITE yesterday announcing a 12 per cent drop in its first-half profits - not to mention the reported doom and gloom of the current economical climate - Debenhams' chief executive,monster headphones, Rob Templeman,sennheiser headphones cheap, isn't letting it get him down.
"As the British Retail Consortium said this morning, this is the worst market for clothing sales for eight years. Against that background we've gained market share against most of our competitors with our designer brands doing well," he told the Evening Standard.
"It is very difficult to predict the next year but I'm not in the camp which says this situation will last for two years. This is not a recession problem but a financing problem. It came very fast and it could disappear equally fast."
But Debenhams is not the only high street retailer feeling the financial burn; just this morning,nike high dunks 2010, the UK's biggest sportswear chain, JJB Sports,sony headphones sale, announced that it will close 72 of its 420 stores after profits dropped almost 30 per cent last year.
