I am working a W2003 Server on an HP Proliant DL380 G3. This is a dual
processor server with 2GB memory and three 72.8GB drives in the raid five
configuration. We're working with Backup Exec for Netware V9.one to backup this
server. This server will freeze all through backup so you won't be capable of
move the mouse or ping the server. We've automatic server recovery turned
on and then the server will reboot right after 10 minutes of getting on this state. There
are no problems during the function log and there are no hardware failures according
to my HP insight agents. We have also turned off automated server recovey to
see in the event the server would blue display or give us any indications of what's
occurring,
Windows 7 Product Key, but following 2 1/2 hrs we manually driven off/on the server
with no need of anything at all taking place. We've got also found out that when undertaking a significant
file copy from this server (two.1GB) the server will do the identical freeze that
comes about through the backup. We've tried disabling nic teaming,
Microsoft Office 2007 Pro Plus, disabling
checksum offloading,
Office 2007 Activation, and disabling 1 nic at a time and this difficulty keeps
occuring. The server is on a 100MB switch with 100/Full forced on both the
change and therefore the server. Any suggestions?
