To say that I'm obsessed with duplicate handbags is an understatement, and I've had the another happiness of cornering my passion for purses into a profession.
Sure, today I pen this new col, run BagTrends.com ,tod shoes, host handbag shopping parties and do my fair share of TV, merely rewind the clock about 18 years and I was simply a young girl in Brooklyn chasing after three letters: MCM.

Longchamp's iconic Le Pliage tote has saved many a traveling fashionista from packaging screenplay.
The luxury label is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Association Nationale pour le Developpment des Arts de la Mode by collaborating with edgy juvenile designers and quondam ANDAM winners Jeremy Scott, Bless and Charles Anastase on restricted editions of the nylon and leather-trimmed bag.
The coalition promotes French and international emerging fashion artist with its prestigious year ANDAM fashion prize. London-based designer Giles Deacon took home the e160,000 ($228,688) medal this year-- just topping the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund's $200,000 allow for largest fashion medal in the globe.
"Here are three styles, three ideas, three ambiances, that reflect the diversity which it is ANDAM's mission to nurture," Nathalie Dufour, brain of ANDAM comments.

Fullum & Holt -- the 112-year-old leather manufacturer who has established leather merchandise and accessories for industry giants: Barneys, Saks, Fred Segal and Selfridges, to name a few, as well as for brands including John Varvatos, Ralph Lauren and Alexander Wang -- is launching a handbag line.
The enterprise was commissioned back in 1914 to afford naval replica belts and harnesses for the Canadian Armed Forces. But now, 95 years later, is catching on a much bigger dare -- designing for today's matron.

High-low neatness main Michelle Obama is getting some heat for allegedly sporting a costly clutch during the first family's trip to Russia earlier this week.
The New York Daily News reports namely the Italian mark VBH is claiming that Mrs. Obama's clutch -- {first|at first,0} glimpsed Monday while the Obamas were strolling with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his wife -- is its $5,950 dark alligator wallet. But the White House is renouncing those claims, mentioning the sack is actually an $875 patent leather version along a mark they didn't name.
