Sync is our sermon series in YouthQuake for the repose of the summer. We’re going with an iTunes theme with award card giveaways and a giant iPod touch set-design. Maybe I’ll post namely afterward. But for immediately, here’s the sequence overview!
What does it average to be human? This is a answer that has confronted us since the beginning of time. Our life’s journey is discover what it method to be fully alive in the context of encountering God. We aren’t extra people when we deed out of sin alternatively brokenness — that dehumanizes our personality. Yet in always of life’s messiness, God meets and invades our hearts and lives through humanity. This lifelong process of role evolution is always almost syncing with the center of God.
David was a “man after God’s own heart” (1 Sam. 13:14). For the afterward 9 weeks, we ambition meet the heart of God in much the same way that David did. In our character, we aspire to transform LIKE Jesus. But there is a large confidence to know thatwithin that journey,LeBron James 6, we constantly look favor David. God sees us for what we are becoming and guides us through deep-rooted, earthy character forming. Only then can we become men and women after God’s own heart. Let’s sync it up!
