My Valentine's Day Story with Tiffany
For every lovers, Saint Valentine's Day is a significant day as it is the blessing from God. However, for John and me it is definitely more than a day with roses and cholocate. It is the memorial day for our love.
8 years ago, we first encountered on the New York street at Valentine's Day and the most inscrutable and romantic story began since then. It was still on Valentine's Day year later. He seriously told me he had to do some research polar region. The days without him will push me in the edge but he told me he wanted me to wait for him. The words he said, the tears come from his eyes touched me. I swore he is the one I am looking for. A year after also on the same day, he gave me a glittering Tiffany ring.
The first Tiffany was born in year 1837, and launch it's diamond series 14 years later. In 1950 the maiden work of Audrey Hepburn – Breakfast at Tiffany's, gaining Tiffany & Co the widely recognition.
The stylists of Tiffany & Co said "every model I design I have to find it's essence, the soul and charm within one work." This is why the hollow heart-sharp necklace can existed and still so popular among people even after so many years. The Tiffany ring always insisted on simple figuration but rich connotation and it always seeking for innovation.
In early 20th century, Tiffany already have many distinguished royal guests of more than 23 countries including the Empress August Victoria, Pussian czar and Emperor of Belgium, Italy and Denmark as well as US president. President Lincoln had managed to find the time to Tiffany for a pearl necklace as a gift for his wife during American civil war.
I looked at the magnificent Tiffany ring, the bright lines represent the great elegance and transcendent distinction. I was shocked by such a natural combination of beauty and love. The small piece is like the noble but not artificial just like the extraction of the heaven. I never thought such an outstanding masterpiece will finally put into my figure by the man I will love for the rest of my life.
I whispered to myself silently "I will you love him, comfort him, and keep him, in sickness and in health, be faithful to him for the rest of my life."
This is my Valentine's Day story with Tiffany, gives me love and understanding. Then the man, John, my husband, we will love and care for each other for long.
