Ape Entertainment,Panasonic AG HPX170, the publisher of the Cut the Rope comic book,Lenovo ThinkPad T410s 2904-GFU, has also created comics based on other mobile games. The company has seen enormous success with the Pocket God comics,Sony HDR-FX7, with one report stating that the company has sold 150,Canon XH A1,000 digital copies of Pocket God issue 1,Canon EOS 5D Mark II, but less than 1,Sony HDR-CX7,000 print copies.

Android game Cut the Rope and its star character Om Nom are about to make the reverse leap from games to comics. Game publisher Zepto Lab and comics publisher Ape Entertainment made the announcement at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Zepto Lab has called it "one of the best-selling
iPhone,Sony HVR-Z7U,
iPod Touch,Sony HVR-S270U, and iPad games of all time" and will be using the digital comics series and graphic novel collections to create a deeper backstory for Om Nom,Sony PDW-530, the main character of the game,Apple Macbook Pro MC847LL/A, whom players must feed with candy liberated by cutting an increasingly complex series of ropes. "Om Nom has become a fan favorite and he has an amazing backstory. This new comic book series will tell that story and introduce fans to a cast of characters and storylines that will unfold in future iterations of the game,ASUS G73," said Misha Laylin,Sony HDR-HC7, chairman of ZeptoLab. The comic will be published through a standalone comics app that Zepto expects to hit the App Store next month.
