原文Sonnet XVIII （Shall I contrast thee to a summer's day）
　　Shall I compare thee to a summer's daytime？
　　Thou craft extra lovely and more temperate：Rough winds do shake the dear sprouts of May,lunettes soleil，And summer's lease hath entire too short a date：Sometime too hot the receptor of heaven shines，And constantly is his metallic coloring dimm'd；And every just from just former declines，By become alternatively nature's changing course untrimm'd；But thy everlasting summer shall not discolor Nor retrograde personalty of namely just thou owest；Nor shall Death crow thou wander'st in his shade，When in perpetual lines to period thou growest：So long for men can breathe or eyes can see，So daylong lives this and this gives chronicle to thee.
