Lingerie Review - Full Figured Bras
All heavy busted women know the importance of comfortable full figured bras. The right or wrong brassiere can make or break your whole day. Most fuller-figured women have trouble finding clothes that are well-tailored to their shape and underwear is no exception to this rule. Unlike other items of clothing
corsets bustiers, lingerie and intimate apparel and in particular the brassiere provides an important foundation to your look - whether you want to minimise or maximise, lift
corset tops, push or separate.
Of course, the first step towards getting good
full figure bras is getting them properly fitted. A high percentage of women regularly suffer through the wrong bra size - and don't even know it! It can be tempting to squeeze oneself into a brassiere that looks good, but isn't your size. While it may seem like a good idea at the time because the bra is pretty, this is something to avoid as not only will it be uncomfortable
bra lingeries, but it can also cause damage to your back and shoulders.
A proper bra fitting can usually be obtained from most large department stores for free - ask around until you find one that you are comfortable with. It should not be an embarrassing or difficult experience. For full figure bras, it may also be worth asking in plus-size stores if they offer a bra-fitting service.
Another thing to consider when buying a full bras is what style to choose. Here are some of the more popular types of bras that are currently available
T-shirt bras - Not only for under a t-shirt! These seamless bras give you a smooth figure that leaves you free to wear tighter or lighter fabrics without unsightly seams showing through. They are usually a great choice for an everyday brassiere as they tend to be more comfortable.
Sports bra - Even if you don't consider yourself a "sporty" type, a sports bra can be a valuable addition to any wardrobe. Sports bras seem to have a reputation as only looking good on waif-like models, but even those of us looking for
full figure bras can usually find a style of sports bra to suit - shop around!
Underwire bra - We've all heard about (and probably experienced) the nightmare that is a badly made underwire bra. While they offer some of the best support, most of the cheaper underwire bras do fall apart rather quickly and the wires tend to poke uncomfortably. However, if you spend a little more and get a good quality underwire bra, it can be a very wise investment! Another thing to remember is never to tumble-dry an underwire bra, as the heat can bend the wire out of shape.
Convertible or strapless bra - Even in
full figure bras, you should be able to feel glamorous! Once you get rid of the straps, you become free to wear strapless, off-the-shoulder or low-cut dresses or tops that show off your arms, shoulders, cleavage or back. With strapless bras, it's even more important to get one that fits well and as with underwire bras, it's worth spending a little more to get a good quality make. Bearing these things in mind
lingerie hot, you should be able to pick the full figure bra that suits your style!
