A York High School student is collecting dresses after Prom this year so low-income girls can shine in 2012.

cheap Bridesmaid dresses, quinceaneras and other special ocassions as part of her “Pay Less for the Dress” event.
Deane will later sell these dresses at a very low cost so every girl has the financial ability to attend Prom.
Deane hopes to recruit local dry cleaners to clean donated dresses and will also collect dress shoes and aim to set up a “day of beauty” on the morning of York’s 2012 Prom.
“Pay Less for the Dress” is a project for the Girl Scout Gold Award
cheap prom dresses 2011, equivalent to the boys’ Eagle Scout distinction. The sale is in cooperation with the York Parent Teacher Student Association.
