Effectively, Microsoft survived its look to the Apprentice, even though the offerings from the candidates weren't overly impressive. I have to say - and I know this is cheesy - but I did get a few tingles when the Donald hyped the company and the task for his Apprentae. And I got a good chuckle when Donald said something towards the effect of: "I like Microsoft products. They work properly for me." Good for you,
Cheap Office 2010, Donald. Once again, we couldn't have done it without you. I was hoping Microsoft might air the risque version of our Office LiveMeeting commercial (via Heather), but oh properly. A girl can dream. Anyway,
Windows 7 Serial, I will put in a plug for LiveMeeting and encourage you to try their free trial. I was their recruiter back when Placeware was first acquired by Microsoft, and I've always loved the product. Increasingly, we're using LiveMeeting for "technical screens" here in recruiting, and I even use it to record my JobCasts ... when I have time to do those. But on to my point ... Are you interested in creating and developing new versions of Office LiveMeeting? Want to be the next LiveMeeting Apprentice? If so, I have two options of you ... On Tuesday, December 6 from 4-8 pm, the group is hosting a special career fair at the Building 34 cafe here in Redmond. Corporate VPs Anoop Gupta and Gurdeep Singh Pall (and a "special guest from the Apprentice") will be on hand to chat regarding the product and the group's opportunities. Anyone with a Microsoft badge (no matter the color is invited. If you do not have a Microsoft badge,
Office 2007 Professional, you are still invited to attend,
Microsoft Office 2010, but you need to have a Microsoft escort,
Office 2007 Activation Key, and your MS friend needs to register you in advance. (Your Microsoft friend can check out the intranet for more info.) Can't make it to Redmond or don't have a Microsoft buddy? Email me your resume with 'Office LiveMeeting jobs' in your subject line, and I'll forward it on over to group. To make this fun and little more challenging, please include your own idea for how you would have marketed the product around the Apprentice. I know you all can do better than Donald's kids. gretchen
