To design the Air Jordan 3, former architect,
malik rose shoes, Tinker Hatfield worked with MJ to redefine the concept of signature shoes. The design was completely different from the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 2 since it was the first pair to show a visible Air sole. It is on this shoe that the now-popular elephant print design took its debut. The one-of-a-kind pattern took the mudguard and heel panel spots on the original colorway.
