Welcome on the official web-site of ACCEPT! We are the one LGBT organization in the region and our story begins thirteen years ago. A non-formal group named - Bucharest Acceptance Group was founded in 1996, together with the purpose to promote an open and sensible dialogue about the complex matter of same-###### relationships.
ACCEPT (Bucharest Acceptance Group) was officially registered as a human rights non-governmental organization in October 1996 and, in 1997, ACCEPT released a national and worldwide campaign to repeal Post 200 from your Romanian Penal Code, which was incriminating same-###### relationships.
Repealing Piece of writing 200 in 2002 is 1 of our most important achievements.
In May well 1999, ACCEPT was awarded along with the “EGALITE” (”Equality for Gays and Lesbians with the European Institutions”) Prize at the European Commission headquarters in Brussels,
