Default Governor to dole out more grants to Conn. towns (AP)

HARTFORD, Conn. – Gov. Dannel Malloy is announcing more state economic development grants for Connecticut communities. The Democrat on Thursday is scheduled to visit Tolland, Brooklyn, Chaplin and Columbia on Thursday, where he'll be joined by state lawmakers Louis Vuitton Handbags and local officials. On Wednesday, Malloy made similar announcements in Montville, Griswold, Deep River and Branford. Montville received 500,000 to design a culvert, while Griswold was awarded 500,000 for drainage and resurfacing projects. Clinton received 400,000 to help with downtown lou is vuitton outlet revitalization efforts. Deep River plans to use its 200,000 grant to replace blacktop and install lighting and benches. Branford received two grants — 150,000 to complete a pedestrian walkway and add lighting, and 30,000 Louis Vuitton Official Website to assess future housing needs. The State Bond Commission in September allocated 20 million for the Small Town Economic Assistance Program.
