Default Tiffany Sneijder, Eto'o, Pastore and more - reader

Our provides the best breaking news online and our football fan community is unmatched worldwide. Never miss a thing again!
It's that time of year again when transfer talk dominates conversation - and Goal.com offered readers the chance to gain the inside track on all the transfer news in Italy this summer by grilling Serie A expert Kris Voakes on Tuesday afternoon.
Our Twitter page was inundated with questions from all across the world, as fans demanded to know what was happening at their clubs.
Click here for a full transcript of the Q&A - here are some of the highlights:
Q: What is the probability of Inter losing both Wesley Sneijder and Samuel Eto'o and if they do, how weak will they be? – Zee Yaghi
Kris Voakes: "Inter will do everything they can to keep at least one of them,Tiffany, but neither will want to be left out on a limb with a rebuilding side. Sneijder was a pale imitation of himself for much of last season, even suffering from anaemia at one point.
"But he remains Inter's key man due to his vision and passing ability. Eto'o scored so many goals that he masked a very poor campaign for the Nerazzurri, but he will want a greater reward for his 37 goals than a season of rebuilding, and Inter are a sign in need of attention.

"This could well be one of the main reasons why Eto'o has spoken of a desire to move to the EPL."

Q: Why do you think Juventus shunned signing Alberto Aquilani despite having a good run with them last season? – Ifeanyi Onuigbo.

KV: "Simply put, he wasn't really worth €16m (£14.3m). Although Aquilani himself talked up his ability to play alongside Andrea Pirlo, there would be a real lack of bite in such a midfield duo and so €16m would be a lot to pay.

"Aquilani did do well last season, but given the new Financial Fair Play regulations and Juve's previous issues in the market, it was probably a very responsible move to say no to Liverpool's demands."

Q: Is there any truth in the rumours that Palermo have accepted a £50m bid for Javier Pastore? They didn't reveal the club. - Jaimit Dattani

KV: "What happens in Italy is that journalists hang around club HQs all day every day and manage to get quotes at breakfast, lunch and dinner from club presidents.

"When you mix this in with the fact that Maurizio Zamparini is one of the more unpredictable presidents in world football, it is hard to say which of the figures from €35-70m he has or hasn't accepted.

"He did say recently that if he turned down a reported €50m he would deserve to be locked up, suggesting that any official bid around €40-45m (£35.9-40.4m) would be accepted. Roma and Chelsea are among those who have been credited with a serious interest."

Q: Where can Edinson Cavani go if he leaves this summer? – Mohanad Nabil

KV: "It now appears unlikely that Cavani will leave, and indeed they would probably be ill-advised to sell him given how well he adapted in his first season at San Paolo last time around. Like many of the top Serie A players he has been linked with some top EPL sides, but his style of play suits Italy more.

"His pace and tricky in behind a high defence,Tiffany And Co Rudy not running - Ben Smith - POLITICO.com, latching onto passes from the likes of Ezequiel Lavezzi make him ideal for Napoli, whereas the more combative, deep back fours in England may find him easy to snuff out."

Q: Is Alexandre Pato still heading for a bright future? He was one of the hottest prospects a few years ago but I don't hear much of him now - Ben Channing

KV: "He still has a great future ahead, and he remains one of Milan's key components. He finished alongside Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic with 14 goals last season and crucially turned in a magnificent performance against Inter in April which proved a vital moment in their clinching the title.

"Much has been said about his and Ibra's inability to play alongside each other, but they have turned on the odd display which has suggested that they can together be important to the club for a couple of seasons yet."
