Just the idea of Yogi chatting with Joba for a few minutes makes me smile.
Yogi is a real treat to have around. I find it charming that he relies on Ron Guidry,Detroit Tigers Hats sale, a Yankee great in his own right,DC Comics & Marvel Hats, to take care of his spring training needs. I can’t imagine what it was like when Yogi cut ties with the Yankees for more than a decade after his hasty dismissal as manager in 1985. He has been back for almost another decade now, and I’d like to think nobody takes his presence for granted.

The Gods of baseball have reserved a seat at the leaders table for Yogi. They are waiting patiently for him to join their executive committee. He is honored for the ten years he told Steinbrenner to “stuff it”. His warmth and judgement will make him a gteat addition to their ranks.
And of course,Cheap Houston Astros Hats, Yogi’s golf clubs precede him to camp. So I was coming back to my hotel room early this evening,Wholesale New York Mets Hats, and who’s in the lobby but the great Yogi Berra? He said he was just coming in from a round of golf. Turns out he’s in the room right across the hall. There’s just something neat about that. The greatest living Yankee is sleeping just a few feet away. Sounds like the start of a novel.

there will never be another yogi..how can one not love this marvelous and vastly,Cheap New York Mets Hats,vastly underated yankee..i remeber when stengel said to the critics of yogi’s ability…”he’s my manager on the field”..hope joe girardi utilizes him..god bless yogi

Yogi to me is the last of a generation. His presence links the Yanlees past to its future in a way that makes me happy.
Re: previous post. C. Perry,Cheap New Era MLB Hats, yes we love Yogi for the wisdom he passes along to today’s players but hate to see someone talking about him as if he’s in the “past.”
