Office Home And Business 2010 Product Key Win7 Exc

Verified identical route to very same file on two Win7 PCs
Both can open exact same file concurrently without any ‘read-only’ warning, and save changes
Both can see updated date/time on file on server, however when they re-open the file, they see only their changes,Buy Office 2007 Key, not that of the other user.
I’ve verified rights on the server share and folder.
I’ve been unable to find recommended configurations for this configuration.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like your server is not managing and locking files correctly. You can review the following article on Opportunistic Locking and check your server settings. 296264 Configuring opportunistic locking in Windows You also want to make sure that both of your users have Read, Write,Office Standard, Change, and Delete permissions to the share. Those permissions are required for Excel to save correctly.
