Remember the Coding Master contest ( I’m delighted to say that among the winning replies belonged to Kristoffer Henriksson who we just hired in to the team,
Office 2007 Enterprise!
Kristoffer initial came to our interest when he replied to the Coding Master contest. We followed up having a telephone get in touch with where he gave some fantastic answers to the technical questions, but he then emailed us the following day with even greater solutions. We liked his tenacity and passion (and I personally share his love of snow-covered slopes and a perfect beer) so we flew him to Washington to have him interview with the team. But you know what happened? He didn’t get the job. But Kristoffer is a smart guy and he has read all of the advice on the blog,
Windows 7 Serial, so he knew the importance of building a strong relationship with your recruiter and accepting feedback graciously. He also knew that sometimes it takes more than one attempt,
Office 2010, so no 1 was surprised when we decided to bring him back for another round of interviews. The second time was the winner and Kristoffer is now hired and on his way to joining the Microsoft family. The moral of the story: Tenacity counts. When you don’t get it right immediately, try to improve. Take feedback graciously and try,
Microsoft Office 2007 Professional, try again. Remarkable work Kristoffer we are thrilled to have you on board,
Office 2010 Professional!
