Peripherals for Embedded Systems Custom Peripheral Designs System Integration
Our line of PC/104 peripherals boards offer maximum functionality at minimum cost. The PC/104 bus and connector allow you to easily add features to your single board computer by stacking feature specific daughter cards. Features that can be added through the PC/104 bus include wide-range wireless interfaces, multiple 10/100 ethernet ports, CAN bus, GSM and line modems,
Windows 7 Starter Key, extra I/O lines, ADC channels, VGA video,
Office 2010 Key, Power-over-Ethernet, serial ports and more. If you don't find the exact features you need in our COTS peripheral product line, consider a custom PC/104 peripheral design to suit your embedded application. Our team of engineers have the experience to modify existing products or design a completely custom peripheral board, often at a lower total cost than an in-house design. Contact an engineer for more information.
Plan your peripheral stack: All our peripherals use PC/104 stack-thru connectors. Some peripherals have a PC/104 bus with a 64 pin connector, some have a PC/104 bus with a 104 pin connector. If you are going to use 64 pin peripherals stacked with 104 pin peripherals, you will need to have an embedded computer with the 104 pin PC/104 bus. Stack the peripheral with 104 pins closest to the embedded PC, and stack the 64 pin peripherals above the 104 pin peripherals. The TS-12W power module can only be stacked on top. When purchasing peripherals, check the pin count on each peripheral and plan your PC/104 stack.
