I'm Jenna Adorno, technical recruiter for MSN. I fill all of the technical positions in the MSN Search engine team as well as the related advertising platform. I came to MSN a year ago from the Microsoft executive recruiting, and a prior to that a long Microsoft recruiting career in various groups including the early days of Windows. That makes it eight years of total employment for me at Microsoft. Time flies.

When I am not working at Microsoft, I am knitting. That is right.... knitting. In fact,Office 2010 Home And Stude/nt Key, my hobby and passion is publishing knitting patterns. You can even catch me on TV doing a knitting television show for the DIY network called "Knitty Gritty". And for any engineer who may be laughing at the point, I dare tell you that a well written knitting pattern has a lot in common with the art of writing high performing code.

The job I have now is the best one yet. MSN reminds me of my early career at Microsoft, fast moving, hungry, fun and risk taking. MSN has its own campus in the Redmond,Windows 7 64 Bit, Washington area so it feels like a smaller company (but with big company resources). The business leaders show the kind of humility and smarts you want at the top.

For anyone who asks me if they can have a life outside of Microsoft.... I just challenge them to do a quick web search on my name.
