When Greg Johnson heads south in June he plans to eat as many "Bluffies" as he can and "talk a bunch of arse".
Johnson's Small Towns and Ball Gowns tour was announced yesterday with two venues in the south hosting the touring four piece short prom dresses, the Riverton Arts Centre and Queenstown's Prime Waterfront Restaurant and Bar.
Performing with Johnson are Ted Brown cheap prom dresses, Ben King and Wayne Bell.
"It's going to be a little bit different prom dresses, there are four singers.
"Ted Brown, who has been my right-hand man in the band since he moved to LA with me 10 years ago. Ben King from Goldenhorse and other great bands grad dresses 2011, and Wayne Bell who has just about been on everyone's record prior to 1995," he said.
"There is really going to be some strong singing and a reasonable amount of idiocy ... and we'll talk a bunch of arse. "It's going to be fun 2011 prom dresses, it's going to be about getting the crowd right up close and enjoying it."
Johnson said he would be getting a "double go of it" as he was also making an appearance at the Bluff Oyster Festival on May 21.
He described himself as a massive fan of the oysters, or "Bluffies".
He couldn't say exactly what he would be doing at the festival but imagined he would be eating a lot of oysters.
Johnson was also looking forward to performing in Queenstown plus size prom dresse, which he said was "possibly my favourite place in the whole world".
"It is hard to think of a place more amazing than Queenstown. It is high on my list of priorities to go back as often as possible. Just stand by that lake and grab your jaw off the floor. Really it's just one of those places that is so spectacular you can't believe your eyes."
Each show on the tour would be recorded and the best songs would go on Johnson's first live album.
Johnson was also looking for a local solo act or duo to open each show.
"They will get to hopefully play to a crowd of folks who might not have heard them before cheap short prom dresses," he said.
"We're looking for acts that really sound good. I'm a songwriter and that is what I do so I'm always interested in folks with songs. There are a lot of people who are part-timers who aren't that serious ... some are and really go for it, get themselves together and push themselves out there. Those sort of folks I'm always keen to help. Getting them in front of a crowd can sometimes be the difference."
JOhnson's manager and promoters would also be at the shows.
"I'm going to enjoy seeing the local flavour as well. I don't want to make too big a deal of it cheap prom dresses 2011, it's not exactly American Idol but it will be nice to meet some local people and hopefully give some kid an opportunity."
