17-page manual at this time,Office 2010 Activation!advertisementA even while back, my Windows XP CD-ROM and DVD AutoPlay characteristic give up doing work. I browse the Microsoft article content "The AutoRun function or the AutoPlay attribute won't function whenever you insert a CD-ROM within the drive"  and "The AutoPlay Function Does not Give good results and the Current Media Doesn't Appear in My Computer Any time you Insert a CD or DVD" , but neither article helped me solve the problem. Finally,Office 2010 Professional, I tried inserting a CD-ROM,Office 2007 Key, selecting My Computer,Office Enterprise 2007, right-clicking the drive that contained the CD-ROM, and selecting Properties. I clicked the AutoPlay tab and selected the Select an action to perform option,Windows 7 Pro, then double-clicked the program I wanted to use to run the CD-ROM. This action launched the program on my CD-ROM. Note that simply highlighting the program you want to use and clicking OK or Apply doesn't labor; you must double-click the program and force it to launch on the CD-ROM or DVD while in the drive. My CD-ROM then ran automatically, using the program I associated with it on the AutoPlay tab.
