Office 2010 Lenovo agrees to preload Windows Live

On March 13,Office 2010, Lenovo and Microsoft announced an agreement through which Lenovo will preload specific Windows Reside providers on ThinkPad notebooks,Windows 7 Professional, ThinkCentre desktops and Lenovo-branded PCs. Amongst the services incorporated would be the Windows Live Toolbar and entry to Internet lookup through Live.com. The offer marks the first OEM win for Windows Reside — and comes at the expense of Google,Office 2010 Sale, with whom Lenovo had a Web search bundling deal. Microsoft's OEM division has been working on cementing Windows Reside preload deals for more than a year. Microsoft rival Google has been striking similar OEM deals for its Web companies,Office Professional 2007 Key, including a much-publicized agreement last year with Dell Computer.
