#1 12-03-2009 Change locale and timezone on Windows2008 trough commandline or sc Hello,
Microsoft Office 2010 32bit,
Currently I am implementing several windows 2008 servers at a customer of
ours.
Since I try to automate as much as possible I would like to change the
system locale,
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 Keygen, user locale,
Windows 7 Home Premium Keygen, keyboard settings and timezone trough scripts or
commandlines.
I started with the locale settings and found a document on how to do this in
Windows Vista.
This document uses: control intl.cpl,
Office 2010 64bit,, /f:"filename.xml" to change the
locale settings to those specified in the xml file.
Since Vista is build on the same kernel I'd figured this would work on 2008
also.
This however does not seem to be the case, All my test XML's work fine on
Vista,
Office 2010 License, and don't work (or change the wrong setting) in Windows 2008.
Can anyone please provide me with a best practice on how to change the locale
and keyboard settings (and if possible the timezone) on windows 2008 using a
script or commandline. (I know this can be done during install but this is
not an option for me at the moment)
many thanks in advance..
