Mathieu was participating in a charity tournament at the Ogden Golf and Country Club on Monday for the Fraternal Order of Police. As part of the accident, actors had to dress the handcuffs when teeing off on the second hole.
Mathieu went with a punch shot that bounced twice and rolled in the hole.
"Somebody recommended I use a blindfold next time," he said.
Mathieu, who used a 6-iron to ace the 135-yard hole, said the handcuffs weren’t namely much of a handicap.
"You’re aware of it, but it doesn’t actually influence you if you swing fundamentally," he said.
