Thumbs up Accessorising with Fur Fashion | Articles Radical

In the winter collections, designers were looking to nature for inspiration in their clothing and accessories, which is currently reflected in the materials and patterns that have permeated into the high street styles. Bold animal prints can be found adorning bags, scarves and gloves and the use of fur in abundance to line, accentuate, finish and garnish garments. Many new designers have begun to use fur in their designs, to make their pieces ever more luxurious. It’s even possible to buy separate cuffs and collars to embellish your outfit. Many fur accessories graced the collections this season, but amongst these perhaps most impressive were the bags. Dolce and Gabbana crafted bags from broadtail and leather, adding a dyed fox flap, and Emilio Pucci crafted shoulder bags from karakul and mink tails. There was a beautiful wholesale juicy handbags online black and grey fox satchel from Louis Vuitton featuring the famous check, and a fabulous Mongolian lamb handbag clutch from Barbara Bui. Hats came in all shapes and sizes with Caroline Charles favouring rabbit fur for her stencilled animal print & jet black ‘Beafeater’-style creations, lamb and mink earmuffs plus a natural beaver trapper hat. Anna Sui added her touch to a range of trapper hats lined with fox or lamb and berets were given a fresh new look in sheared beaver by Diane Von Furstenberg. Vivienne Westwood presented vintage styles with oversized Zhivago Pill Box hats while Jean-Paul Gaultier’s wide collection of avant-garde head warmers included styles such as a dyed black lamb and embroidered silk Georgian, fox Masai trappers with some adorned with embroidered ear flaps, feather pirate hat with dyed fox pom-poms, knitted rabbit hats with fox trims, red cross fox slouch, rabbit babushka, a jewelled warrior crown with fox trim and a range of mink, fox or lamb trim hoodies. Another high colour display came from Chris Benz, matching apple greens, mushrooms and purples through trapper hats and gloves in fox. It was the scarves and snoods that attracted the most attention wholesale newport box shorts cigarettes online though, with Dries Van Noten’s bold leopard print mink scarves and Carolina Herrera’s embroidered mohair scarf and chocolate fisher scarf proving popular. Etro, the Italian fashion house, provided alternative and interesting fox tail trimmed scarves, whilst Amanda Wakeley crafted fuller shape fox wraps. Antonio Marras had a range of fur trimmed leather gloves, including a daring pair of elbow length pieces trimmed in dyed Toscana lamb, and Brian Reyes offered oversized chevron fox mittens in black or green. Roberto Cavalli’s extensive collection included a stunning range of scarves and sleeves trimmed with fox fur and dyed mink tail scarves, alongside fox fur and Tuscan lamb messenger bags. Perhaps the greatest designer this season was Kenzo, whose interest and passion for fox fur shone through in trims, bags, fringes, hems, elongated dickies, collars and shearling shoes, proving cheap marlboro red cigarettes online once and for all that fur fashion is bigger than ever. There’s a whole array of different furs to suit every style and taste this season – such as the wonderfully soft and glamourous mink fur. Why not find out more about fur fashion today?
