The grouse moor, keepers' cottages and autos on the Millden estate around Brechin in Angus had been searched beneath warrant after Tayside police and wildlife crime investigators raided the property early this early morning. The estate is run by Nick Baikie, a grouse moor supervisor who was previously employed by Mark Osborne, an Oxfordshire-based chartered surveyor. Grouse moors operate by Osborne in Scotland and England have previously been raided by police investigating alleged wildlife crime offences.

The every day documents on Dennis's site ended on two July, the second anniversary of its tagging in 2007 around the Glenfeshie estate in the Highlands, as portion of a long-term examine into their behaviour and breeding.
Alma had flown approximately 130 miles from her eyrie within the Cairngorms nationwide park, reaching as far north as Loch Maree in Wester Ross. She was identified dead in deep heather, with her grownup plumage beginning to appear from beneath her moulting juvenile feathers, Dennis mentioned.
"We're just terribly, terribly disappointed," he explained. "It's just tragic because Tiffany Baby, as the months went by this bird grew to become an increasing number of intriguing. A huge selection of men and women had been following her Cheap Tiffany, and she is nationally identified. It just beggars belief that she has become poisoned.
"It's challenging adequate to be an eagle anyway, but to possess this extra stress is just appalling. I'm in favour of hunting nonetheless it has to be carried out ecologically and ethically, and this really is entirely unacceptable."
Superintendent Ewen West, of Tayside police, explained: ''The golden eagle was portion of a task being undertaken by Scottish National Heritage. The bird was currently being constantly tracked and when her movements came to an abrupt end in the beginning of July suspicions have been elevated that she had died. Sadly Tiffany Key Necklace, she had been illegally poisoned."
Golden eagles could be deliberately targeted by gamekeepers who wish to end any birds of prey eating grouse or pheasant, however the species commonly drop prey to poisoned baits that are laid out on sporting estates to destroy other birds of prey, which includes hen harriers, white-tailed eagles and buzzards.
Roseanna Cunningham, the Scottish surroundings minister, said: "I am truly appalled that one more golden eagle has become illegally killed in Scotland - the 2nd this summer time. Illegal poisoning is just inexcusable and while the perpetrators are certainly beneath contempt they're in no way above the legislation.
"Poisoning naturally poses critical animal welfare hazards Tiffany Wedding Rings, but these offences also hurt Scotland's tourism market our economic climate and will even tarnish the reputations of these doing work within our countryside within the legislation.
"The simple fact this eagle was tagged and also the Scottish public ended up actively engaged in its progress, only can make this scenario all the a lot more galling. The lack of this wonderful animal is really a actual blow to Scotland, specially as we're renowned world-wide for our extraordinary wildlife."
