Skechers sues Sears over shoe patent,reebok zigteck shoes orange and black, trademark claims
Skechers USA Inc. sued Sears Holdings Corp. for selling footwear that infringes the patents and trademarks for products such as Shape-ups and Twinkle Toes.
Skechers is seeking monetary damages and a court-ordered prohibition of the sale of the products,zappos mens reebok shoes, the Manhattan Beach,reebok walking shoes, California-based company said today in a statement.
“While we value our relationship with Sears,reebok zig tech basketball shoes, their actions are causing us tremendous damage,skechers shape ups running shoe, and we simply cannot let any company,skechers shape ups for women, let alone a company the size of Sears,reebok zigtech shoes, infringe on our most valuable intellectual property,reebok pump men's shoes,” Philip Paccione,reebok zigteck shoes orange and black, Skechers' general counsel,skechers shape ups for work reviews, said in the statement.
Sears is selling the allegedly infringing products,Skechers Shape Ups Silver shoes, which go by the brand names TheraShoe,reebok women's shoes, Melrose Avenue,skechers women's shape ups strength, Paris Blues and Athletech,reebok freestyle shoes, at Sears and Kmart stores and on websites,mens reebok shoes, Skechers said. Sears and Kmart also sell Skechers shoes,reebok easy tone shoes, according to their websites.
Skechers rose 30 cents,skechers shape ups black, or 1.5 percent,skechers woman shape ups, to $20.02 at 2:49 p.m. in New York Stock Exchange composite trading. The shares had risen 13 percent this year before today.
