Default Office Standard 2007 Win7 not booting on Viao SB19

Hi there,Office Enterprise 2007,
I have a very Sony Viao SB19GG (the Raid 0 SSD model).
It has Win7 Professional on it.
It is new i.e. three days aged. I ran Win7 updates initally and all was great. Yesterday I up to date via the updates and it appears now the Viao will not boot. Basically,Microsoft Office 2007 Sale,Windows 7 Professional Key Hall Booth Smith & Slover, P.C., the Win7 logo display arrives up and hangs.
When I boot into protected mode with networking it's going to boot up. I then restart the personal computer and it boots straight in.
What could possibly be the feasible lead to and are there any equipment I could run to locate the issue at all?

System restore from Safe Mode.
Install Windows Updates 1 by 1 to determine if there is one that's borking the method.

Will a technique restore delete my data put in because the previous restore?

Will a system restore delete my data put in since the last restore?
System Restore only has an effect on Registry,Office Standard 2007, Drivers & Technique files.. all other info is left untouched
