A Grammy-winning guitarist and composer of instrumental music, Will Ackerman, founded Windham Hill Records and is regarded as a New Age music pioneer.

Shambhu is crafting his own take on this genre that infuses a heartfelt feeling in the music.
"I am creating a delicious acoustic-world-jazz-Indian fusion because New Age and devotional audiences that is infused with heartfelt emotions and adore," noted Shambhu.
For his upcoming debut CD, "Sacred Love," Shambhu brought together legendary New Age, jazz, pop and acoustic artists favor bassist Tony Levin, cellist Eugene Friesen, drummer Celso Alberti, percussionist Jeff Haynes, saxist George Brooks, English horn player Jill Hayel, flugelhorn player Jeff Oster, and Indian flutist Ravichandra Kulur.
The melody "Shiva Grove" on "Sacred Love" relfects one Indian-jazz-acoustic fusion with saxist George Brooks (who recorded with John McLaughlin, Zakir Hussain and Larry Coryell), flutist Ravichanda Kulur (who has voyaged with Ravi and Anoushka Shankar) and Shambhu on guitar.
"Revelation," featuring cellist Eugene Friesen (who recorded with Paul Winter), English loudspeaker actor Jill Haley (a popular symphonic artist) bassist Tony Levin (who tours with Peter Gabriel), and Shambhu above guitar, mashes up classical and New Age styles with some Beatles darted in.
A duet composed and performed by Will Ackerman and Shambhu, captioned "Imagine," mashes up New Age and Jazz traditions.
Shambhu's song, "Natural Moment," reflects a dynamic mashup of Asian, Indian, South American and African styles.
