I hate being the bad guy again, but Zoë and I are getting inundated with one-off requests, and I need to remind readers of our expertise and limitations. Microsoft Baseball Challenge In the spirit of the popular and always fun Microsoft Hockey Challenges, some folks have started the Microsoft Baseball Challenge. The inaugural baseball challenge is scheduled for August 15th at the Everett AquaSox Stadium. This year;s event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington and the Cocoon House of Snohomish County. Anyway, Josh is raising money for the event. If you are interested in donating to these fine charities, check out Josh;s post on how you can help. As the event approaches, I;ll post info on how you can purchase tickets. Spread the word! I love Jersey Mike;s Since I;m in advertising mode, I wanted to give a shout out to the Jersey Mike;s in Kent. I lived next door to a Jersey Mike;s for two years in college and became quite obsessed. (I also lived behind a Papa John;s … between the two, nice aromas filled my apartment 24-7.) Jersey Mike;s has the best Philly Cheesesteak I have ever eaten… and I;ve been to the “best” Philly Cheesesteak places in Philly. It;s been four years since enjoying one of those cheesy delights, and Josh and I were both in heaven. The only location in the state is in Kent (across from the IKEA), but we were told they are opening a second location in Lynnwood. Why not Redmond?
