One factor I love about Microsoft is the “continued education” we supply and support. You can learn how to code in C#. You can learn how to most effectively prioritize your time. You can learn how to manage outside vendor relationships. You can learn how to use Excel pivot tables like a wizard. You can learn how to drive a project from inception to completion. There’s definitely a lot of options. I have a lot of training going on right now … some are voluntary (like a PowerPoint presentation class that I’m honestly looking forward to); some are mandatory for my job (like a two day legal training scheduled for next week … but hey, I always find legal stuff fun.)
