Default China-Sweden, Women’s Curling

Canada takes two points with the hammer in the third end, and leads Switzerland 3-1.
Switzerland and Canada are tied at one after two ends.
Sweden leads China 6-2 in the seventh end, Sweden with the hammer. A big end here might cause China to concede.
Update: Liu draws her last shot to the button. Norberg tries to bump it away, but is too light and puts in more in center. Four Swedish stones lie close, however.
Update: With three stones to go on each side in the tenth end, the Swiss have two stones in the house. The Canadian third knocks one out with her second shot.
Update: With Sweden lying two, Wang tries to take out the shot rock and roll for a point. She takes out the Swedish stone, but her shot rolls too far, and Sweden steals a point for the second end in a row to lead China 3-0.
China and Sweden play the 2-3 game in the semi-finals of the medal round. Norberg makes a poor draw with her first throw, but Bingyu Wang makes a nice one to the four-foot ring, leaving China sitting two. Norberg taps that one over, and Sweden is forced to take just one point in the first end.
Update: The Swiss third executes a nice double take out, allowing Switzerland to blank the seventh end. That gives them the hammer in the even ends, trailing by two.
Update: Norberg makes a perfect shot, and Sweden leads 6-1 at the five-end break.
Update: Wang throws her hammer too far to the back of the house, and Sweden steals a point in the second end. They lead China 2-0. That was the first big mistake of the match, but China retains the hammer.
Update: Canada tried to hit and roll out of the house in their first end against Switzerland, but their stone stayed in and they had to take one as well. Often,Killahbeez, teams would rather blank an end and keep the hammer rather than take just one point and give up last stone.
Update: The Canadian skip takes one out,Cheap Kansas City Royals Hats, but if Ott can make the same shot, she’ll tie the game.
Update: Canada and Switzerland are tied at 3 at the break. Since that game seems a bit more interesting, I’m going to switch over.
Update: Bingyu Wang, lying shot with the hammer in the ninth, misses her shot and the Chinese only score one. That puts them down 9-4 with one end left, and they concede. If she makes the shot, they might play the last end as stealing four, while not very likely, is possible. Sweden moves on to the gold-medal game. China will play for the bronze.
Update: Wang’s last shot of the fifth end goes deep, and Sweden has a great chance to score three with the hammer.
Update: Wang’s last shot hits a guard, and China takes one in the end. Sweden gets the hammer back leading 3-1 after four ends.
Update: Wow. The Swiss skip threads the needle between two guards with her penultimate shot, and leaves Switzerland sitting two, with some protection in front. Two stones left.
Canada leads Switzerland 3-2 after four ends.
Update: After six stones, Sweden lies three in the center of the house with two guards out in front. Three stones left in the fourth end for China.
Update: Canada uses the hammer to take two from the Swiss in the sixth end. Canada leads 5-3, and is set up to have the hammer in the even ends.
Update: Switzerland puts one in, and Canada takes it out. Three stones left, the last to Switzerland, trailing by two.
Update: Oh my. She knocks out the Canadian stone, but the shooter rolls too far left and the Swiss are left lying one. Canada wins 6-5! They’ll face Sweden in the gold-medal game,Boston Red Sox Hats, while Switzerland plays China for the bronze.
Update: With the hammer in the ninth and the Swiss sitting shot, Cheryl Bernard makes a chain reaction shot that leaves her shot, and she just misses by millimeters second shot as well. Canada leads 6-4 as they go to the tenth end, Switzerland with the hammer. Should be a good last end.
