Default new era casquettes pas cher Concentration Camps, 1

For My Peace
"Sergeant Dieter. You've been assigned to the sixth division. You will be acting as a guard to general Von Kluge. Report to base at 1400 hours. Do not be late."
Military Vehicle, 1300 hours
"Reporting for duty." There was silence for a moment before the crackling response was made.
"Name?"
"Bj?rn Dieter."
"Rank?"
"Sergeant." Another moment's silence.
"You have been cleared to proceed, sergeant Dieter. Please continue to the north side. General Kluge is waiting." And with that, the gates to Berlin opened.
One can compare Berlin to Deadalus' labyrinth. There is simply no system to the roads and alleys. Most of them, save those close to the capital building, are nothing more than hard packed dirt. The homes are ramshackle and run down, and are too close to the street. A drive that should only be fifteen minutes turns into fifty.
Upon arriving, we turned off the engine to wait for the general, thankful that he hadn't gotten there before us. Fifteen minutes later, Kluge arrived in a large camouflage truck.
"Sergeant Dieter?" His voice was deep and scratchy, as if his throat had been rubbed with sandpaper.
"Yes sir. Reporting for guard duty, as you asked." Kluge smiled, showing mismatched yellow teeth.
"Good. We will be doing a routine check of the camps. You and your men will stay close to me at all times." I nodded my affirmative, and the man stepped lightly into the passenger seat,Belstaff Cuero, directing me to head out.
Concentration Camps, 1500 hours
Having never been to a concentration camp, I had no idea what to expect. The rumor was that they were dirty and somewhat cramped, but better than the filthy Jews deserved.
Stepping out of the truck, we followed Kluge to the gates. Fences surrounded the place like a fortress. Barbed wire fences, I noted. "We are here for the routine check." Kluge told the guard. The guard nodded and stepped aside, his face a mask of stone. Walking in, I got my first glance at the concentration camp.
There was no grass anywhere, only hard dirt. Several brick buildings were dotted around the land, although I couldn't make out and purpose for them. Guards were walking around, most with a stun baton or gun. Their faces were expressionless, making them appear void of emotion. I frowned at that. What can make a man so emotionless? Confused, I followed the general through the streets.
The first thing that we checked were the buildings built by the Jews. They were shoddy, and built too quickly, but Kluge seemed happy enough with them. Mentally shrugging my shoulders, we continued with the sweep. Next were the guards. They were more difficult to judge. A guard needs to be alert at all times, watching out for an attack, inside or out. They were all alert enough, and better yet efficient, but their lack of emotion continued to bother me.
Finally we came to the camps themselves. A double layer of barbed wire surrounded the area, keeping anything unwanted out, and, more importantly, the Jews in. This was looking more and more like a prison every second that went by.
"Dig a hole right here sergeant." The general said, pointing at the ground in front of the fence. I obeyed, although confused, and grabbed a shovel leaning against a nearby shed. He ordered me to stop when the hole got to around three feet deep, and directed me to start digging under it. Now I was even more confused. Why would he want to dig under the fence? A Jew could get out. Soon, though, the purpose of my digging became clear when I heard my shovel clang against something. Bending down so I could see, I noticed that the fence was buried in the ground. I raised my eyebrows. They were certainly worried about security. The general nodded, as if pleased that they had taken the time to bury the fences, and directed me to fill the hole back up.
"It is good. We only need to check out the condition of the 'showers' now." Showers? Why should we have to check on the showers? Even more perplexed now than I was earlier, new era casquettes pas cher, we headed towards one of the brick buildings that I had seen earlier. A guard was standing outside of it, looking thoroughly bored. As we approached, he looked up.
"I'm sorry sir, but it's in use right now." The general nodded, though he looked slightly annoyed.
"How much longer do you think it will be, soldier?" He asked. The soldier scratched his head and then responded.
"Not to long sir. Maybe five more minutes." Kluge nodded and we stepped back, waiting for whatever was going on in the building to be finished.
Five minutes later, a truck with a trailer attached pulled up outside the building. Two men jumped out, both wearing what looked like gas masks, and opened the door to the building. I quickly stepped back from the rotten odor that billowed out from the building. The men walked inside, and a second later, walked back out carrying a dead man. They threw his body carelessly onto the trailer, and then went back in again. I became increasingly horrified as they brought body after body out and threw them onto the trailer. All of the bodies were either old men and women, or worse, young children. They were all Jews. A knot in my chest tightened and I looked away from the disgusting scene. Soon, all of the bodies were on the trailer, and the two men nodded respectfully to Kluge, before driving off.
"I believe our work here is done, sergeant Dieter. Drive me back to Berlin." I almost gaped at the man, who acted as though nothing had happened, and then I realized why he was behaving like that. It was because they were Jews. He thought no more of them than he would of cattle. I felt anger bloom in my stomach, cheap moncler, but nodded curtly to him anyway.
