Highlights of recent years have been a performance with the visiting Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra; an invitation by Welsh composer Karl Jenkins to perform the national première of his new work Gloria at New York's Carnegie Hall last January (and subsequently its West Coast première in March); commissioned works by the legendary Anita Kerr and renowned composer John Rutter; and hosting guests artists such as The Brothers Four, pianist Walt Wagner, jazz and gospel artists Dee Daniels and Louise Rose, and Northwest favorite Stan Boreson. Besides the New York trip, members of the chorale enjoyed a five-city performance in Italy five years ago and are in the initial planning stages of another European tour.
