Advised Resolve: Click on here to fix Windows errors and optimize method performance

Hello,Cheap Office Professional 2010,It's Now O.K. to Call a Netbook a Netbook - NYTimes.com,
I am trying to use my Personal computer COM port.

1) Personal computer (Win7 32b) device manager lists COM1 (and LPT1),Windows 7 Home Basic Product Key, tells that device is working properly
2) at the back of the Laptop I have 25pin connector (2 rows female)
3) I connected 25pin Male to 9pin Male adapter
4) My peripheral (EasyPIC5) has 9pin Female connector
5) I set peripheral to send one byte constantly
6) I use this USART Terminal sw for testing
https://sites.google.com/site/terminalbpp/
7) In terminal,Office 2010 Standard X86, I can see COM1, I can connect but I can't get any data
Where could be the problem ?
What should I check ?
Thanks in advance
