Optional OneNote 2010 update now available
In response to some feature and performance issues that some of our users had reported on the OneNote 2010 forum on the Microsoft Answers site, the development team has released a free, optional update for the full version of Microsoft OneNote 2010. This update improves the display of search results and inserted documents and improves Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and indexing features in the application. For more information about this update, see the Microsoft Knowledge Base article "Update for Microsoft OneNote 2010 (KB2493983)." You can download this optional update for free from the Microsoft Download Center: Download the Microsoft OneNote 2010 update (32-bit version)
Download the Microsoft OneNote 2010 update (64-bit version) The update can be applied to both standalone versions of OneNote 2010 and to installations that are part of any Microsoft Office 2010 suite. As with all software updates, it is recommended that you first close all programs before proceeding. If you don't use the features that this update addresses, you do not need to install this optional update. -- Michael C. Oldenburg
