Jesse James and Kat Von D have been caught canoodling by various media outlets since the summer, but recent reports have conflicting views on whether or not the pair are still an item. James, whose cheating scandal during marriage to Sandra Bullock made headlines earlier this year, reportedly met the reality star in 2004, but their relationship remained platonic until after his divorce was final. Von D declared her love for the former West Coast Choppers owner to PEOPLE in early September.
Despite reports that Von D decided to end their long-distance relationship, PEOPLE reports that the couple shared a meal -- and some smooches -- at West Hollywood's El Compadre restaurant on Saturday afternoon.
Other reports are painting a less positive picture. According to TMZ, Von D and James are not only a thing of the past, but the 'L.A. Ink' star is harboring some hard feelings against her ex. Sources say that TLC editors are scrambling to cut James' appearances from Von D's show following frantic requests from the tattoo artist.

Kat revealed she was dating Sandra Bullock's ex back in August in a tweet she quickly deleted.
In an interview that same month, she talked at length about their romance. She told LA's KROQ radio in late August that she's known the West Coast Choppers owner since she was 22. "We've always been friends, you know? And even when all that negative stuff went down and stuff, I stayed out of all that drama. Going out, people were always asking what I thought about this and that. And I think it's none of my business and it's none of anyone's business really. I think we're all human and we're all capable of making mistakes."
The fact that Von D looks a bit like the most famous of James' tattooed mistresses, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, didn't matter to her, either. "I think that I'm his type on a different level than people would assume. Just because I have tattoos doesn't mean we're the perfect match," she explained in the KROQ interview.
She later admitted to PEOPLE that things were serious. "Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. I don't hang out with anybody unless I am in love micheal jordan heels," Von D, 28 jordanheels, said in September.
