Microsoft announced that XP mode on Windows seven can be utilized with no hardware virtualization using a new system update. This update will perform only on Windows seven Enterprise,
Office Enterprise 2007 Key, Expert and Ultimate.
Until now,
Office 2007 Ultimate Key, XP Mode on Windows seven was enabled only on the newer processors with hardware virtualization assistance – enabled in the BIOS. The users with older processors with no hardware virtualization till now,
Office Pro, cannot use XP mode benefits even if they have enough fast processor to handle that virtualization. Realizing that, Microsoft decides to remove these hardware requirements with system updates for both 32 and 64 bit Windows.
